About Jake
Jake isn’t a big manufacturing company or a mass-production operation — he’s a local fisherman building baits the same way many great lure makers started: in the garage.
Working swing shift at Nutrien Phosphate, Jake spends his off-hours designing and handcrafting lures with a simple goal in mind — creating baits that consistently catch fish in Eastern North Carolina waters. Every lure is built with attention to detail, durability, and real-world performance.
When he’s not pouring, painting, or tuning baits, you’ll usually find Jake on the water. He loves running his Sea Hunt boat, chasing bites on the Neuse and Pamlico River, and most importantly, spending time fishing with his daughter, Bristol.
